Monte San Quirico (Lucca), 23 March 2025 – The long and intense cycling day on the outskirts of Lucca with headquarters in Monte San Quirico, concluded with the classic Coppa Giuseppe Cei, now in its 74th edition and also valid for the 55th Coppa Francesco Tomei.

Success rewarded the strong and very talented player from the Marche region Thomas Cingolani who showed an irresistible burst after a very tense and hard-fought final race.

After the group had marched for several kilometres together, the selection took place over the last few kilometres, with a small platoon going on to compete for the prestigious victory in the race organised by the GS Cei and their colleague Giuseppe Tomei, a true tireless coordinator of the opening race of the season which saw 168 riders at the start.

On the finishing straight with the presence of numerous sportsmen, the winning idea of ​​Cingolani, standard-bearer of the company Petrucci Zero 24 Cycling Team which regulated Dell'Olio, Longo and the others who were part of the leading group.

An illustrious and very good winner, a complete young man if it is true that he has already been Italian cyclocross champion, winner of the Italian time trial title for students last June in Grosseto, and again in 2024 winner of the Youth European Championships in Slovakia. A great promise with a triumphant start to the season in a race that counts.
