Viareggio (Lucca), 10 March 2025 – With a splendid performance at an average speed of over 50 over the 11 km of the course, the eighteen-year-old from Varese Riccardo Columbo won the “ChronoVersilia" juniors organized by Pedale Lucchese Poli and in which 46 competitors took part. A beautiful youth preview of the Tirreno-Adriatico and a challenge on the edge of seconds on the Versilia seafront touching Marina di Pietrasanta and Fiumetto between the winner Colombo, the 2024 track world champion, the Trentino Magagnotti and Salogni, who recorded times 10 seconds faster than Colombo. Good performance also by Bertoncelli and Tommaso Marchi fresh from the victory the day before in Nonantola in the province of Modena. Among the Tuscans in the race the best was the Prato native Menici, seventh and only one in the Top ten of this spectacular event promoted in 2023 by the Lucca company of the enthusiast Poli.
