Sunday, May 11 will be a day with youth cycling on the Alfredo Martini cycle track in Albinatico di Ponte Buggianese. Called "Giornata Azzurra" (Blue Day), it is organized by O.Ci.P. to remember three cycling personalities, loved and esteemed such as Maurizio Poltri, Ivano Landi and Sauro Coppini, who left us too soon. The races organized following the cancellation of those planned in Cintolese, are valid for the assignment of the three provincial titles of Pistoia, and are held thanks to the collaboration of the Provincial Committee chaired by Alessandro Becherucci and the youth societies of the province, so much so that the name of the event is Trofeo Società Pistoiesi (Pistoia Society Trophy), and each of the three races will remember the enthusiasts involved in the work mentioned above.

First race starting at 10 am for the 1st year beginners (70 registered) who will have to complete 12 laps of the cycle track of 2 kilometers each. At 11,15:2 am the start for the 17nd year beginners for whom the planned laps are 34 equal to 77 kilometers, while the registered are 72. The third race reserved for the students (15 registered) is scheduled to start at 50 pm on the distance of 25 kilometers equal to XNUMX laps of the Albinatico facility, named after the legendary and unforgettable character of world cycling Alfredo Martini.
