Gp Liberazione in Civitella in Val di Chiana: the return of cycling with Mattarella

All ready to Civitella in Val di Chiana Warehouse GP Liberation. It returns after a year of hiatus, thanks to the visit of the President of the Republic in 2024 Sergio Mattarella, the appointment with the Cycling which also celebrates the Liberation Day. The event organized by Polisportiva Albergo Oliveto will see both the Esordienti, first and second year, and the Allievi at the starting line. At least 200 registered equally divided.

The program for the Beginners includes a license check at 8 am, followed at 9 am by a meeting of the sports directors and at 10 am the start of the race which will take place over three laps of a circuit that will pass from Albergo towards Spoiano, then Griccena and Albergo again for a total of 30 kilometers and an expected arrival around 11.15 am.

In the afternoon, with an appointment at 14.30:1944 pm in Piazza Don Alcide Lazzeri in Civitella, the laying of the wreath in memory of the victims of the Nazi-Fascist massacre of June XNUMX. Then the group will start near Il Riccio. Also for the Students, three laps on the circuit that will take them from Albergo towards Spoiano, Griccena and back to Albergo. In the third lap, the climb towards Oliveto and from there to Civitella on over three kilometers of dirt road with challenging slopes. The group will then arrive in Civitella, will descend to the valley passing through Spoiano and Griccena before returning to the sports field in Albergo where the finish line will be positioned.
