Giuliano Baronti Grand Prix. The hunt for the prestigious success
Emotions and spectacle for the junior race in Cerbaia, scheduled for Sunday. Delayed on Rai Sport

Sambinello's success in 2024. On the right, the favorite. Rosato
It will be 130 kilometers of strong and vibrant emotions, with a spectacular finale considering the route, for the third Giuliano Baronti Grand Prix which opens on the first Sunday of March 2025 Junior Season. An edition with added value for the presence of Rai, that of the Italian CT Dino Salvoldi, with 194 registered from 29 teams, in a word an authentic showcase of national luxury to open the season. It is ultimately the most beautiful and important way to remember Giuliano Baronti, a charismatic character who gave so much to the national cycling and Tuscan, who everyone loved and who left an indelible mark on this sport. His sons Alessio and Stefano have outdone themselves in commitment and passion to organize the event, a true celebration of sport and cycling. Among the main participants, two athletes stand out in the lineup, Giacomo Rosato and Alessio Magagnotti, authors of an extraordinary first year as juniors in 2024, but there is certainly no shortage of opponents who will do everything to win the Pistoia race. We mention the Tuscan champion Del Cucina, Proietti Gagliardoni, Fabbri, Sciarra, Pascarella, the debutants Gaggioli and Luci, Ballerini, Buturo, Cerame, Battistelli, Serangeli, Spitaleri, Matteoli, Scottoni, Migheli, Petrolati, Salomone, Iacchi, Ferruzzi.
Path. The race organized by Team Franco Ballerini, includes the meeting and the unofficial start from via Amendola in the industrial area of Cerbaia di Lamporecchio at the Neri Sottoli company, while the route will be 130 km long. The official start from via Ferrucci in Lamporecchio at 14 pm after two and a half km of transfer, with 5 initial flat laps of 16,300 km through Mastromarco, Lazzeretto, Stabbia, Cerbaia, then two laps of 17,200 km with some undulations (Lamporecchio, Borgano, Vinci, Bivio Toiano, S.Pantaleo, Apparita, Mastromarco, Lamporecchio, Cerbaia). Finally the last lap of 16,400 km touching Lamporecchio, the climb of San Baronto from what is the most challenging side, then a technical and treacherous descent towards Giugnano and Lamporecchio to reach the finish line of via Amendola in Cerbaia di Lamporecchio shortly after 17 pm. The race will be broadcasted deferred on Rai Sport Channel 58 from 17,30pm to 18pm.
