Triumphant start to the season for the Florentine amateur team Hopplà of patron Claudio Lastrucci. After the good performance of the Valdarno player from Incisa Matteo Regnanti, who finished fifth in the Florence-Empoli, Regnanti himself and his teammate Richard Lorello were protagonists in the 63rd La Torre Grand Prix on the Cerbaie hills not far from Fucecchio.

The two athletes led by the sports director Stephen Roncalli, they broke away after 20 kilometers with two other riders (Leali and Bicelli) and the quartet remained in command of the very fast race (almost 43 on average) until the end with an 80-kilometer long breakaway. The two Hopplà were able to manage their race conduct well and then dominate the final sprint with the success of Lorello and the second place of Regnanti. A tandem that started off well in this start of the season and that can give great satisfaction to the managers of Team Hopplà and the sports director Roncalli, as the two athletes have undoubted skills and qualities, as they were able to show off last season.
