Cycling: the beautiful story of Ciclistica Mobilieri continues for 131 years

Ponsacco, 17 March 2025 – The foundation date is March 1894 and therefore 131 years of history that endures through passion and for the commitment lavished by its managers. Ciclistica Mobilieri Ponsacco can proudly tell its story, the many moments of satisfaction; it can also tell the difficult moments it has been able to overcome.

Today the company is ready for the new season with a program full of commitments. The confirmation of a junior team (8 athletes) who have already started the activity, the commitment to return to set up the youth nursery (only one very young) also to give prestige to the cycling initiation school, established by the president's company Frank Fagnani.

To this activity the Mobilieri Cycling adds the organizational commitment, with the Giro dei Tre Comuni, a stage race for students that this year will take place from May 31st to June 2nd. First time trial stage from Cenaia (location the company Oasi del Verde of Claudio Macelloni) in Crespina; second stage with departure and arrival in Cenaia, final stage from Cenaia to Ponsacco with arrival in Viale Italia in front of the Enoteca Le Melorie.

In 2025 there will also be a youth competition in Ponsacco and a novice competition in Cenaia, while in October the Coppa del Mobilio for elites and under will take place, to which the Municipality will offer support as far as possible, as declared by Mayor Gabriele Gasperini during the presentation of the 2025 program. During the ceremony there will also be a greeting and blessing from don Armando, then the toast to the season in Cenaia at the Oasi del Verde new sponsor of the company also present the mayor of Crespina Davide Bacci, and the regional cycling managers Micheli, Fogli, Piccinini and Banti.
