Cyclists from all over the world at the European randonnée. The protagonists of the Rando Imperator arrived on Sunday 4 May, once again linking Munich to Ferrara, passing through Bolzano, on a two-day journey from Germany to Italy. A small village created thanks to the collaboration of B12 Bike Professional welcomed them in Piazza Castello. The tenth edition followed the route of the ancient Via Claudia Augusta, confirming its leading role. In 2025, the Rando Imperator managed to gather 290 participants. Numbers that confirm the success of the event organized by Witoor and which, to celebrate its tenth anniversary, also introduced a new 1200 km ring route that started from Ferrara on Thursday 1 May. Many stories to tell, with the 'pioneers' of the new 1200 km route in the spotlight. A ring from Ferrara to Munich and back, proposed this year on an experimental basis but which gathered 28 cyclists. Four days of travel with few stops and a lot of altitude difference for a unique experience. Included in the Audax Italia circuit, it offered three BRI/ARI brevets: one 600 km, from Monaco to Ferrara, and two 300 km, Monaco-Bolzano and Bolzano-Ferrara. The organizer Simone Dovigo, president of Witoor Sport, was satisfied: "Those who have participated in the Rando Imperator confirm it: it is the most fascinating experience that a randonneur can currently have in Europe. All participants take home a special memory: whether it is a landscape seen or a moment of exchange with a cycling companion, or the joy of having completed such a long journey in such a short time, it is a unique way to see a concentration of Europe and emotions in just two days". With the European randonnée Witoor thus begins "a new season of cycling events with the aim of making everyone pedal, without borders, in Italy and Europe".
