The students and beginners of the Scd Alma Juventus Fano participated in the 5th Trofeo Città Bellaria Igea Marina-4th Memorial Stelio Neri. The students of the sports directors Gabriele Gorini and Filippo Beltrami had to repeat the circuit sixteen times, losing pieces along the way, due to the rather fast pace of 44,4 km/h and due to some falls. However, Youssef Dahani and Kevin Piccioli managed to finish the race by crossing the finish line in the middle of the first group, while Massimo Ranieri, Pietro Brancati and Luca Conti were forced to retire. Many threw in the towel: 59 out of 118 starters arrived. Instead, 48 out of 80 completed the effort in the 1st Year Beginners category, competing in eight laps. The only representative of the Fano club was Riccardo Violini, who for half the race was constantly in the leading positions, only to drop back a bit towards the end, thus arriving further back. On the contrary, they managed to finish in a group in a sprint between the 2nd Year Simone Ringhini and Riccardo Agostini, with Ringhini himself as co-star, protagonist among other things of a couple of interesting attacks including the one in the last kilometer of the eleventh lap. 37 out of 89 retired including the other three orange-lobster of the ds Samuele Mancinelli: Federico Pogliaghi, involved in a fall, gave up in third, followed by Martino Scarselli and Diego Giannetti, respectively in fifth and eighth. The passing of Pope Francis then dictated the cancellation of the Easter Monday outing also of the Students of the company of the president Graziano Vitali, expected by program at the 35th Gran Premio Città di San Mauro Pascoli.
