The Giovanissimi team of theEmpoli Cycling Union confirms itself as the strongest team in the category at the moment. With 2 victories and as many second places, in addition to a fifth, the 16 white and blue baby cyclists have given President Chiti's team the victory in the team ranking of the race "Pasqualando“ (pictured is the award ceremony), with 247 athletes at the start. In the same event held in Ponte a Egola, the Novices and Students also got into the saddle. Let's start with the top ten, among which the first years stood out, who with determination and a lot of determination entered the top ten: sixth Cavallini, ninth Rayadi and tenth Tognetti. As for the Students, instead, there were eight athletes from Uc Empolese who reached the finish line after 46,200 kilometers covered at a dizzying average of 44,590 km/h. The race was very fast from the start, after the first attempts to escape, the decisive action was promoted by the white and sky blue Thomas Sheets, joined by two athletes from Iperfinish. Thanks to the understanding immediately reached by the three escapees and the excellent coverage work done by their teammates in the group, the trio took a decent lead that they maintained until the finish.
