La Coppa Italia won by Lube crosses the doors of Sforza Palace. The team that won its eighth Coppa Italia, as well as its twenty-sixth title in its history, in the exciting challenge against Verona on January 26th was hosted yesterday morning in the Town Hall. A ceremony organized by the Municipal Administration attended by the mayor Fabrizio Ciarapica, the councilors Claudio Morresi and Giuseppe Cognigni, the municipal councilors Gianluca Crocetti, Roberto Tiberi and Francesco Micucci, while representing the sports club, the full team with coach Giampaolo Medei, assistant coach Romano Giannini and the technical staff, the vice president and managing director Albino Massaccesi and the general manager Beppe Cormio.

The mayor delivered a commemorative plaque to the Lube Civitanova thanking her for having brought the name "of the city around the world – he said –, and also as a winner. Congratulations because you have reached a goal even though you did not start as favorites". "Lube – Morresi's words – is an added value for the city. I always come to see the games and this year I have noticed an exponential growth". Here are Massaccesi's words: "today is a historic day – the CEO commented – because we are all celebrating in full. It is essential that Civitanova remains at our side and that our commitment is always recognized".
