La Volleyball Massa Carrara is going swimmingly with its own youth formations male Under 19, 17 and 15. All three, after graduating territorial champions of the Tuscan Apennines, are successfully attempting the most complicated regional stage.
THEUnder 19 is second in group A after losing the opening match against Invicta Volley (0-3) and winning the following ones against Vbc Calci (3-1) and Volley Academy (3-0). Coach Enea Nicolini's team will start the return round on March 20 by hosting Invicta. Second place would be worth access to the semifinal.
In 'Under 17, however, the formula is different: there are not two groups but four, with three teams each, with one-way matches. The Massa team coached by Silvia Angelini (pictured) beat Collevolley (3-0) on their debut, also defeated by Lupi Santa Croce with the same score. Now the direct clash between Pallavolo Massa Carrara and Lupi will decide who will advance first, but the second-placed team will also have access to the quarterfinals.
THEUnder 15, finally, started its round of four well by beating Powerhouse Gymclub Arezzo (3-0) and this morning in Montignoso (10,30:XNUMX am) will host Biauto Pallavolo Sestese. Here too, the first two places give access to the semi-finals and coach Silvia Angelini's boys are on the right track to reach them.
