Le Mans 11 May 2025 - It was not a simple race, but an afternoon of ordinary madness on two wheels. The rain only appears for the MotoGP at Le Mans and disrupts everyone's plans. Between falls and bike changes, the one celebrating is zarco with her Honda. The French driver in fact proves to be a prophet in his own country and for the first time since 1954 he makes the Marseillaise resound on a transalpine circuit. Very good at managing all the difficulties Marc Marquez, secondly, in spite of its rivals instead Alex e bagnaia, both crashed and returned without points from this race. The podium completes it Fermin Aldeguer in a weekend where, after many difficulties, he demonstrated his talent to everyone by constantly battling among the top of the class.

The race

The morning was characterised by rain and after having granted a respite in the races Moto2 e Moto3, returns on time for the MotoGP. The wet shuffles the cards: start postponed after many of the riders on the grid changed bikes. So we start with all the unknowns related to the weather and unfortunately the start does not favor the Italians. The first ones run away, with Quarterly followed by Marc e Alex Marquez. Maintains fourth place Fermin Aldeguer, while he is not lucky at all Pecco bagnaia. In fact, at turn 3 the Italian was hit by a KTM, launched a little too cheerfully in the center, thus causing the pilot to fall DucatiMir also crashes on his Honda, again at turn 3, victim of the "rebound" of the Italian's bike.

The waltz of bike changes begins already from the second lap, some in fact choose to start with dry tires and are forced to change during the race, others instead change the bike twice. The first laps are very confusing, with also many penalties to serve for several riders. In all this the track becomes very treacherous and costs the race to Quarterly e Binder, both crashed on the last corner of the fourth lap. In this very singular situation, there is glory for Aldeguer, who gets the satisfaction of a few laps at the top, ahead of his brothers Marquez, as there is also for Savadori with her Aprilia, third for a few laps. He also falls Morbidely in a race that is starting to take on the appearance of an elimination race.

Little by little, with all the bike changes and the crashes, the "real" classification of the race begins to take shape, after a first half of great uncertainty. He made the right choice of bike zarco, who finds himself alone at the top with a large margin, ahead of theAprilia di Olive tree, To two brothers Marquez and KTM di Acosta Casa Particular in ViñalesThe Portuguese's moment at the top does not last long, as his dry tyres do not allow him to respond to the Ducati, before falling at the end of the race. The French Honda rider instead flies even on a wet track and despite everyone expecting a recovery of the Ducati, the host leaves a void behind him, reminding everyone that he is a two-time World Champion in Moto2.

In the final stages the intensity of the rain increases and the race becomes very difficult to manage for all the drivers, among them the serious mistake is committed by Alex Marquez: fell on a highside while changing direction. The first fall of the brother of Marc keeps him in the points zone in sixth place, the second one, unfortunately for him, forces him to retire. Physical problem instead for Acosta, which forces him to give up the podium in favor of Aldeguer, who crowns a great weekend with a wonderful third place. It is a celebration instead for the Honda, it's a celebration for French fans, but above all it's a celebration for Johann zarco. The Frenchman in fact wins the Le Mans race, the first transalpine to win in his homeland since 1954, ahead of Marquez and precisely to Aldeguer. The number 93 can still be happy Ducati, given the falls of the two World rivals, the Spaniard gains a good 20 points on them and begins to build a considerable margin in terms of the championship.
