Therefore, at the moment, the number one has disappeared. That is, Jorge Martin, Aprilia rider, World champion, has given the Federation his number 89 as an identification for the new year. Then, in fact, we'll see.

It certainly won't have been easy for Bagnaia to return the champion's brand, but it is equally certain that Pecco, thanks to the Barcelona tests, seems to have already obtained more than encouraging indications on the 2025 Desmo with which he will try to reclaim the sceptre of number one in the world.

"The differences with the 2024 are few – explains Bagnaia – and this is a sign that I consider positive. The new bike already seemed quite fast to me. Maybe the work over the winter will be important to bring to the 2025 also the braking force that often made the difference on the last Desmo".

Pecco worked for the first time with Marquez, his classmate on the official Ducati, and this… contact also seems to have left him with absolutely positive feelings. "I'm pleased that Marc has recorded the same indications as me in discovering the bike for next season. I say that if you took the sheets of paper with the notes we wrote after the Barcelona test and superimposed them, the same things would come out. Someone might have the doubt that it was the same person who wrote them".

And since yesterday the MotoGP circus is officially on vacation. Next appointment, at the beginning of February, on the Sepang track for the first three days on the track of the new season, with the official tests approaching the green light of the World Championship.
