Beirer, responsible for the racing team, who between now and the end of the year will have to find a turning point to bring the Austrians back to the top. The tests in Jerez, on April 28, the day after the race, will be decisive, because Acosta there he will want to see significant steps forward on the 2025 bike. His manager Albert Valera it was clear a few days ago "we will see the tests, then we will evaluate". There are at least three teams on Acosta. He is looking for him Honda, who needs a high-ranking pilot and Luca Marini it's expiring, he's also looking for it Yamaha , more timidly since there is the track Razgatlioglu for Pramac, and especially VR46, with Vale Rossi who thinks highly of him and could decide to hire a top rider to further raise the level. In short, Pit Beirer needs to show results to convince Acosta to continue his adventure in KTM.

Beirer: “We will work to make Acosta feel at ease”

There's a queue to hire Pedro Acosta and KTM is under pressure. On one hand there is a bike to develop to give the top rider a chance to win races and titles, on the other there is the economic crisis, which has threatened to make the racing department disappear. Doubts about the updates are hovering, because investments are needed and the recovery plan limits the room for maneuver, but for Pit Beirer there is the maximum support of the company to climb to the top of Moto GP. The first mission, however, is to ensure that the predestined one continues his adventure: "Pedro is under contract with us and we know that the teams want the right riders - Beirer's words -. We must work together to ensure that Acosta feel comfortable and want to stay here”. The rumours about the cancellation of a test in Jerez due to lack of funds have also been calmed down, everything was decided following the flood that prevented a test on the Spanish circuit: “We started the season prepared and we brought new parts, but we still haven't managed to put together the whole package. Then there were the rumours about that test in Jerez, but we couldn't do it because of the flood and the track was damaged”. The funds, therefore, are there: “We are prepared for the future, we are receiving enormous support from the company”, concludes Beirer. First, Acosta must be convinced, who is highly esteemed by Valentino Rossi. The choice in VR46 will be difficult because Morbidelli and Di Giannantonio are home riders and are doing great things, but a talent like Pedro Acosta it's tempting...The Doctor spoke like this: "Acosta is a great driver and I like him a lot, but it's early and we are happy with our drivers. We grew up together". Read also - Neil Hodgson clear: "Bagnaia destroyed, he's missing three tenths"
