Mugello 22 June 2025 - There is no escape from the law of Marc Marquez, not even in Italy, not even on the splendid Mugello track. The Catalan wins again and does so after having won a beautiful series of duels in the first half of the race, and then running away in the second part. Behind him is his brother Alex finishes second on the podium in front of a wonderful By Giannantonio, third at the finish line. Finishes only fourth Pecco Bagnaia, disappointed by the ending, but confident for a great start where he set all the stands of the Tuscan circuit alight. Good Bezzecchi fifth after yet another comeback with his Aprilia.

The race

Spectacular start at Mugello and beautiful hand-to-hand combat between bagnaia e Marc Marquez, where the Italian driver has the upper hand on the first lap. The Spaniard however reacts and at the San Donato braking point on the following lap he takes back the lead. The first truly heart-stopping laps between the two drivers of the official team Ducati. Interested spectator of this duel is Alex Marquez, immediately behind them. Behind them they all flow without any particular problems, the only shame is the fall of bastianini at the end of the first lap. Good Morbidely rose to fourth place, as did Acosta in sixth place, struggles instead Quarterly, who loses 4 positions at the start.

The duel between bagnaia e Marc Marquez continues, the Italian puts on a show at Mugello, taking risks like he has rarely been seen to do. There is also a small contact between the two on the third lap that almost makes Pecco fall. The number 63 however is inspired and despite a couple of shivers he is still there in search of a victory. It can be said without a doubt that the first laps of this Grand Prix are among the most exciting of the season. Alex Marquez after five laps as a spectator, he enters the scene in the sixth lap. Taking advantage of a mistake at Bucine bagnaia, the centaur of the team Gresini he sucks up all the slipstream from his brother and the Italian, taking the lead in the race.

Alex Marquez try to make a selection in the group, taking advantage of the duel between the two Ducati officials. Marc however has another pace and after a couple of laps of physiological rest, both personal and for the tyre, he returns to the attack, overtakes his brother and returns to the leader of the Italian Grand PrixBehind them, however, the fight for fourth place heats up, with contact between Morbidely Casa Particular in Viñales, provoked by the Italian, which costs the Spaniard the race and leads to a long lap penalty instead for the driver of VR46 team. In the central area of the group, however, there was a great recovery here at Mugello for Aprilia: Bezzecchi in fact finished fifth, taking with him Raul fernandez.

Marc Marquez he has a pace from another planet and runs away in search of yet another seasonal victory. The pace of 1:47 low is unsustainable for anyone, while behind him the challenge for the podium is very much alive. Alex Marquez, bagnaia e By Giannantonio they are more or less equidistant from each other as the race enters its final five laps. With two laps to go, Diggia breaks the deadlock and attacks bagnaia at Casanova with a beautiful counterattack attack. Pecco almost resigns himself to fourth place, while the Roman tries to attack in the last round Alex Marquez, but he fails to attack, having to settle for third place. Up front, however, he celebrates once again Marc Marquez: second victory at Mugello, this one as a dominator, still ahead of his brother. Great race but only fourth place for Bagnaia, while Bezzecchi with the Aprilia is still great, fifth.

Halfway through the race he frees himself from Arenas, takes the lead of the race and manages until the checkered flag, winning the race once again with great authority. Arenas second on the all-Spanish podium, but the real spectacle of the race is the fight for third place between Canet e Moreira. Moto3

As with every Grand Prix, confusion reigns supreme in Moto3 from the start to the finish line straight. The very long finish line straight lends itself to an endless sequence of overtaking and counter-overtaking. At each lap the San Donato braking point shuffles the positions on the track. This allows the drivers who are good in the guided areas to emerge and the Italian drivers prove to be great protagonists. Lunetta e Pini They are the first two to climb into the noble areas of the group, but unfortunately for both of them the race ends prematurely: the first due to contact with Fernandez, caused by Muñoz, the second one instead after a contact with Kelso. In the end, the most experienced of all holds the Italian flag high: Dennis FoggiaThe Roman driver leads the entire last lap, but is outwitted at Bucine by his teammate Quiles e Carp. Maximo Quiles he thus wins the first race of his career and does so at Mugello.
