Official, the last MotoGP race will be held in Barcelona
Given the impossibility, and inappropriateness, of holding the last race in Valencia, the last act of the MotoGP World Championship will always be held in Spain

Rome, November 5, 2024 – Now it's official. The MotoGP confirms that the final event of the 2024 season will take place in Barcelona. We return to Circuit of Barcelona-Catalonia on the dates already scheduled for the end of the season, that is from the 15 17 November, for the GP that will decide the World Championship. The Grand Prix will be held as a sign of solidarity with the Community of Valencia, hit by the flood.
In those days according to the original calendar one should have run to Valencia, part of a region recently hit by devastating floods. As this is the last Grand Prix of the season, and given the competitive context of the Championship and the positive impact that this event generates – as explained on the official MotoGP website – "we feel the responsibility to organize it for our fans, for the MotoGP paddock, for this sport, and especially for Valencia. Instead of racing in Valencia, MotoGP will race for Valencia”. For all those who have been affected and for the entire Community of Valencia”.
According to MotoGP, Barcelona represents the most convenient option for fans who were already planning to attend the MotoGP season finale.
