A show that will embrace 4.400 female and Paralympic athletes coming from 184 delegations to celebrate the start of 11 days of racing, starting on August 29th. Led by Thomas Jolly, artistic director for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games Ceremonies, the show will "showcase Paralympic athletes and the values ​​they represent". Describing the event as “a magnificent source of inspiration", Jolly promises "performances never seen before first in a spectacle that will unite spectators and television audiences around the world around the unique spirit of the Paralympic Games". The Ceremony will once again take place outside from the perimeter of a stadium, with the people involved who will parade along the famous avenue of the Ville Lumière, to reach the venue of the official opening of the Paralympic Games: the iconic square, in the presence of thousands of spectators.

In the morning of Thursday August 29, the President of the Republic will meet athletes and the Italian delegation at the Paralympic Village where he will be welcomed by the President of the Italian Paralympic Committee Luca Pancalli. During the day he will also attend some scheduled races.
