In the downhill heat things went more or less the same as on Saturday in the women's freestyle. The front runners were the same. The best split time was Maguey (paired with Moltzan) with 23 cents on Aicher (together with Duerr), while third was Austria 1 with Puchner-Liensberger at 28 cents.
