Sun Valley (Idado, USA), March 25 – Still holding our breath for the Women's Alpine Skiing World Cup. The leader of the specialty Alice Robinson she came out early today, even ending up in tears, in the first heat of the giant slalom at the finals of Sun Valley. And so on Federico Brignone, second behind a large Lara Gut-Bahrami, a thirteenth place at the end of the second half will be enough (start time set for 19) to equal the New Zealander now still at +20 and secure the 'Cup' of the wide gates by virtue of the greater number of successes this season (five for Brignone). It would be the third trophy won after the general World Cup and the downhill one. An anomalous first run, with an old-school low-speed track that turned a lot, and wet snow: numerous exits among the athletes who went down, nine of whom - out of 29 - went off-track without managing to recover the line. And Fede's downhill, although with evident errors, in the final, showed off all her qualities even taking into account the gap of 45 cents from Gut.  Sofia Goggia is fourth at 1.51 from the partial leader. Fear for the fall of the American Paula Moltzan, who lost the case and ended up in the nets. The athlete, although in pain, got up and went down on her own with her skis. Twenty athletes arrived at the finish line in the first heat: so Fede will have to leave just seven behind her to win the Giant Slalom Cup. The thirteenth in the standings after the first heat is Nina O'Brien, 4”09 hundredths behind Gut-Behrami and 3 seconds and 64 hundredths behind Brignone.  "I started well, I was pushing but then I made mistakes in the second traverse - Fede says -. There were changes in the snow, it was difficult. I care about the race - Brignone added - and I don't want to go down too much just to do it. I want to attack in the second run, because the more I attack the less I make mistakes and because I want to have a good race, as I showed I can do in the first half of the first run. In the middle the snow cracks and in the end it's really slippery and I risked going out".
