Sinner's history in Halle

As already highlighted, in 2024 Sinner triumphed for the first time in his career in the ATP 500 in Halle. In addition to his success against Hurkacz in the final act of the event, our standard-bearer got the better of the Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor, the Hungarian Fabian Marozsan, the German Jan-Lennard Struff and the Chinese Zhang Zhizhen along his path. In the 2023 edition, however, the path of the native of San Candido stopped in the quarterfinals against Aleksandr Bublik due to a muscular problem in his left leg that occurred during the second set (the Kazakh was ahead 7-5, 2-0). Previously, the Italian had prevailed against the Frenchman Richard Gasquet and his compatriot Lorenzo Sonego.
