Melbourne, January 23, 2025 – Amazing Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori. The blue couple has reached the Australian Open Men's Doubles Final for the second year in a row, beating the Dutchman Sem in a comeback Verbeek and the Swede André GoranssonThe score: 2-6, 6-3, 6-4.

An hour and 53 minutes of play in which Bolelli and Vavassori, who until now had not lost a single set, after having given up the first they changed gear and dominated the other two, conquering the third Slam final of their career, equalling the record of Nicola Pietrangeli and Orlando Sirola, champions at Roland Garros in 1959 and previously defeated in Paris in 1955 and at Wimbledon in 1956.
Bolelli now it's also Italian with more Major finals in men's doubles. But now there is above all to take a trophy that slipped away last year: in the final the Italian pair will face Harri Heliovaara and the British Henry Patten, who defeated in three sets the pair formed by the Germans Kevin Krawietz and Tim Puetz with the score of 6-4, 3-6, 7-6.
