Foro Italico is renewed for the Internationals: Sinner leads the Italians

The new look of the Foro Italico, which expands with nine courts for the return of the world number one, Jannik Sinner. The 82nd edition of the International presented yesterday includes these entry lists. The men's list includes 78 of the top 100 players in the world, starting with Sinner, eight Italians are now certain of a place in the main draw: Sinner, Lorenzo Musetti, Matteo Berrettini, Flavio Cobolli, Matteo Arnaldi, Lorenzo Sonego, Luciano Darderi, Mattia Bellucci. As for the women's list, there will be the top 70 players in the world and the only Italians admitted directly to the main draw are world no. 6 Jasmine Paolini and Lucia Bronzetti.

The president of the tennis federation Angelo Binaghi also announced the wild card that will be assigned. Nuria Brancaccio, Elisabetta Cocciaretto, Sara Errani, Tyra Caterina Grant, Giorgia Pedone, Lucrezia Stefanini plus two other players from the Pre-qualifications will directly access the women's draw. As for the men, however, there will be 4 wild cards, namely: Federico Cinà, Fabio Fognini, Luca Nardi and Francesco Passaro. The fifth 'card' will be fought over by Matteo Gigante and Giulio Zeppieri.
