Monza – “It seemed crazy to be able to organize a tournament like this in three months, and instead...”. Instead “we have shown that there is a silent and welcoming Brianza. With enthusiasm”. Matthew Fenaroli, entrepreneur from Brianza, is the sponsorship manager of the tournament. Together with Giorgio Tarantola, director of the ATP Challenger Atkinsons Monza Open 25, brought home the result after "a long work, started on the word of ATP". And in fact "at the beginning we only sold a dream", but I immediately found a great response, multinationals, medium-sized companies, small sponsors, the Municipality, traders, Confindustria who gave their openness to support us without asking for anything in return. We went together towards the result, doing a network work that, honestly, here in Brianza has never been easy to do". Fenaroli discovered that "there is a hunger to have another international sporting event in Monza in addition to Formula 1". He is aware that "they are not comparable in terms of numbers", however “the ATP Challenger it is a highly inclusive event.”

“We made a very precise choice: until On Friday, entry to the event is free – underlines Fenaroli –. A clear decision, to widen participation as much as possible and also to demonstrate that our goal is not to organize a 'hit and run' event just to make money. We want this event to become a permanent part of the sports calendar and, above all, of the city”. A signal for the future: “The demonstration that even in Monza you can organize beautiful things, by working as a system”.
