Monza, 4 April 2025 – Federico China It's the surprise move of theAtkinsons Monza Open 25, the 100 category challenger that takes off Sunday April 6 on the clay courts of Villa Reale Tennis. The eighteen year old from Palermo, number 371 in the world, who rose to fame in the first part of 2025 for reaching the final in the Greek Challenger of Hersonissos, but above all for having reached the second round in the Miami Masters 1000 on his debut after having beaten the Argentine Francisco Comesana, was invited by the organizers from Brianza with a wild card for the main draw. Son of Francesco Cinà (the coach who brought Roberta Vinci into the top 10) and already number 4 in the world among the under 18s, the young Federico has already shown his right temper despite being his first experience in the international field. He won the tournament in February ITF Sharm El Sheikh, he immediately aimed at higher category tournaments, showing a powerful and tactical wisdom. 

Top Ten Under 18

The Director of the tournament, Giorgio Tarantola, also made official the remaining two invitations, assigned to Jacopo Vasami e Pietro Fellin. The left-handed roman, born in the same year as Cinà, is already present in the Top Ten of the under 18 world circuit thanks to his successes in February in Egypt and Morocco. While Fellin, The 23-year-old host trains with the V-Team on the Monza courts of via Giovanni Boccaccio and about twenty days ago he won his first international title in the ITF of Huamantla, Mexico.
