Monza, 11 April 2025 – The whole city is activated in waiting for the semi-final and final of theATP Challenger Atkinsons Monza Open 25. Yesterday the extraordinary opening of Rinascente, qThis evening we continue with the “Royal Tennis Night”, an evening in the city streets with shops open until 21.30pm and many entertainment opportunities.
Aperture extraordinary, exclusive events, music and surprises: a unique opportunity to experience Monza. In via Carlo Alberto 36 at Martino Midali, at 18pm cocktail party with guest Ilaria Franza and his work “A bounce of light”, pulsed light that metaphorically captures movement. Amerigo concept store becomes “Aperigo” with guest Andy, musician of Bluvertigo and artist who presents his work “PopSmash”. Arc Gallery hosts the works of Isa Locatelli and Marco Larcher, while Galleria San Paolo Art Monza presents the work “W la Felicità” by Marco Larcher, from 17 to 19 pm. Also at Casati arte contemporanea (via Carlo Alberto 26) yesterday the exhibition of Skiri, a pop artist, was inaugurated, with 22 works on a pop theme, open until Sunday. "We would have liked to propose the "Yellow Night" on Thursday evening - explains Alessandro Fede Pellone, secretary of ConfCommercio Monza Brianza Milano - but since “Truck food festival” kicks off, the three-day event dedicated to street food at Boschetti Reali, we wanted to include the openings to suggest a single route from the station, through Via Italia, Via Carlo Alberto and the Boschetti, up to the Tennis club”.
The cultural contamination between sport, art and enjoyment of the territory worked to encourage tennis enthusiasts to visit the centre of Monza and learn about the activities. 15 artists from Monza and Brianza have joined, creating as many figurative or abstract works on the theme of tennis in the shops of via Carlo Alberto, piazza Carrobiolo, piazza Roma, via Italia, via Manzoni, Spalto Piodo, via Martiri della Libertà, via Vittorio Emanuele. “In recent days, many curious people have entered the shops - observes Fede Pellone -, attracted by the works of art on display. We will have other evenings with late closing, on Thursday evenings, perhaps with the formula “Grande braderie” with gazebos at very discounted prices outside the shops”.
