Tennis, Jasmine Paolini changes coach: Furlan out, Sara Errani hypothesis emerges

The Tuscan tennis player could be guided by her doubles partner with whom she won the Olympic gold

Florence, 31 March 2025 – Renzo Furlan he is no longer the coach of Jasmin PaoliniThe announcement was made by the Tuscan tennis player herself with a message full of gratitude. 

"After 10 years together I want to say a huge thank you to Renzo Furlan for everything he has done for me," she wrote on Instagram. "We have had an extraordinary journey, we have shared unforgettable moments, including an incredible 2024, the final at Wimbledon and Roland Garros, the Olympic gold in Paris. And in 2025 we have also started off great." "Renzo has been a fundamental part of my growth, both as a player and as a person," Paolini added in the post. "Everything I have learned from him will always accompany me and continue to guide me in the future, and he will still remain an important person in this new chapter."

The new chapter is not yet known, but rumors are circulating sensational rumors according to which Paolini would be trained by Sara Errani with which he won the Olympic doubles in Paris.

Furlan, a former ATP tennis player, began coaching at the end of his career in 2004. He was responsible for the federal technical center in Tirrenia and over the years he also collaborated with Francesca Schiavone, for a period he was responsible for the Serbian U.20s. With Paolini he started working part-time in 2015, then full-time after the pandemic in 2020. In 2024 the WTA coaches elected him coach of the year on the circuit with Jasmine who climbed from 29th to fourth position.
