A tournament of excellence in Tolentino

The first stage of the event ended with record numbers Central-Southern Macro-area of the circuit Junior Next Gen, which took place on the fields of Tolentino Tennis Club. An event that saw the participation of over 500 young tennis players, engaged in an 11-day marathon. The massive participation required a considerable organizational effort, so much so that some matches were also played on the courts of the tennis clubs of Recanati e Macerata.

The young home athlete was the main protagonist of the tournament Julius Bozzanga, who triumphed in both singles and doubles in the category Under 14, confirming his talent on the launch pad. In the singles, Bozzanga overcame Tarlazzi with a score of 6-3 6-4, while in the doubles, paired with Tarlazzi, he dominated the Mastropasqua/Piazzolla duo with a clear 6-1 6-0.

In the other singles draws, in the category Under 10 men Sena prevailed over Quarta at the end of a balanced match that ended 7-6 6-4, while in the women's event Benvenuti prevailed over Rondina 6-1 6-2. In the category Under 12, clear victory for Bongiovanni over Micarelli (6-1 6-0) in the men's, while in the women's Di Bernardini beat Bazzica 6-2 6-3. The final was very hard-fought Under 14 women which saw Lanzoni prevail over Pellandra in the third set with a score of 6-3 6-7 6-3.

In the doubles tournaments, in addition to the aforementioned success of Bozzanga/Tarlazzi, the other winners were: Diana/Sena (Under 10 men), Welcome/Hen (Under 10 women), Bongiovanni/Onion (Under 12 men), By Bernardini/Swallow (Under 12 women) and Lanzoni/Pellandra (Under 14 women).
