It's not the first time this season that Dzeko has finished a match with a physical problem, as he himself recalled with photos of his recent injuries. Before the match, his hand was already bandaged due to the pain he suffered at club level in the first leg against Anderlecht in the Europa League in mid-February. Earlier in the season, he also suffered a bleeding facial injury, which required stitches to his eyebrow.
"You look good like this," commented his former Manchester City teammate Mario Balotelli. "You look magnificent," also joked Radja Nainggolan, with whom Dzeko played at Roma.
