The Sky Sport documentary tells the legal story of Michele Padovano, acquitted after 17 years on charges of drug trafficking.

He said it, visibly moved, Michele Padovano, former Juventus striker, after the preview in Turin of the documentary produced by Sky Sports, on his story. "Innocent, 17 years without freedom" is the title of the documentary that tells the story of the footballer's activity on the field and his long legal matter which saw him condemned in the first two degrees of judgment up toabsolution final of the Court of Appeal of Turin January 31, 2023, 17 years after his arrest. A very long time, before finally dropping the charge of having financed drug trafficking from Morocco.
"I thank my family, because without them I probably wouldn't have made it, and the lawyers Giacomo Francini and Michele Galasso - added Padovano -. I would do everything I did again and I don't regret anything: I didn't commit any crime and in the end the truth came out". The documentary, which will be broadcast in two episodes on January 3 and 10, uses interviews with several teammates, including Alessandro Del Piero, Ciro Ferrara and Antonio Conte.
