To complete the spikers department, Savino Del Bene has chosen a player who has entered the history of volleyball: Caterina Bosetti, Olympic champion at the Paris Games and one of the most experienced and successful ever. "I am excited to embark on this new adventure with Savino Del Bene: a company that has established itself among the most important realities of Italian volleyball and beyond. I will give my all to help achieve increasingly prestigious goals", she confessed.

She returns to Italy after a year with the jersey of VakifBank champion of Turkey, which Scandicci met, and defeated, in the semifinal of the Final Four of the Cev Champions League that was played in May in Istanbul. Between the championship and the nine appearances in the Champions League, Bosetti totaled 147 points, 17 blocks and 29 aces, demonstrating once again the effectiveness in attack and service, as well as great solidity in the second line. Born in Busto Arsizio on February 2, 1994, Caterina grew up in a family of volleyball players: daughter of Giuseppe, the most successful coach of our youth teams, and of the former Italian Franca Bardelli, and sister of Lucia, five years older, whose footsteps she followed. After starting out at the age of thirteen in Amatori Orago, from 2008 to 2011 she was part of the Under 18 National team with which she won silver at the 2011 European Championships. At 15 she made her debut in A1 with Villa Cortese; she remained there for four seasons, winning the Italian Cup twice. In 2010, the Under 19 European title and the award for best player; in 2011, the Under 20 World Championship and the MVP award of the entire tournament. In that same year, she joined the senior National team and won the World Cup. In 2013-2014, she flew to Brazil and won the title and the National Cup with Osasco; the following year, she went to Turkey with Galatasaray. Then she returned to Italy: one season in Novara, two in Modena, two in Casalmaggiore and another four again in Novara where she collected victories in the Wevza Cup and in the Challenge.

Caterina's list of achievements has been further enriched in the last three years: in 2022 she won gold in the Volleyball Nations League and bronze at the World Championships, while in 2024 she once again stamped gold in the VNL and the Olympic title.
