Italy's Golden Volleyball Team on Dancing with the Stars

Rome, 24 September 2024 – The golden girls are ready to shine again. Where if not to 'Dancing with the Stars'? After the deserved ones Olympic medal celebrations between Quirinale and Lateran Palace, the Women's National Volleyball Team will be the protagonist again, this time in prime time on state television.

Seven of the thirteen Italian women, who won the first historic Olympic gold medal in Paris, will be the guests of honor (Saturday 28 September) to the programme broadcast on Rai Uno and hosted by Milly Carlucci with Paolo Belli. 

There won't be a coach Julio Velasco, a great tango enthusiast. But the stage will be held by Paola Egonu, Alessia Orro, Myriam Sylla, Anna Danesi, Monica De Gennaro, Marina Lubian and Sarah Fahr. 

In fact, the blues, after having played the Fineco Super Cup (18pm at the Palazzo dello Sport in Rome, live on Rai 2) with the respective teams Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano and Numia True Volley Milan, will move to the Rai Auditorium at the Foro Italico to take part in the first episode of the nineteenth edition of the popular Saturday night television programme on Rai 1.
