It starts tonight (20,30pm) play-off for third place, there is the champions league in the next season. The Sir Susa Vim Perugia tries to stay among the nobles, to do so he has to beat the Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza which has been missing from the tournament for some time. For those who cannot be at Pian di Massiano there is still the possibility of following the match which will be broadcast live streaming on the Vbtv platform and also on Dazn.

It is the coach Angelo Lorenzetti who introduces the clash: "The volleyball that Piacenza expressed in the semifinal is certainly of a high level and we have to measure ourselves with that. I told the boys that there is no reason why Piacenza, psychologically speaking, should be easier to play this match here, there is no reason why Piacenza should be more motivated, it is a clash of equals, therefore, it is up to us to interpret this match at our best".

Among the locals, there is curiosity to see if Japanese spiker Yuki Ishikawa will be among the starters. The Emilians have rested much more having lost the semifinal in three games and coach Ljubomir Travica may have recharged his team's batteries properly. Among the guests, an increasingly important role is played by Turkish spiker Ramazan Efe Mandiraci who has earned his place.

At the home of Gas sales Bluenergy, it was the former Juventus centre-back, Gianluca Galassi, who released the pre-match statements in view of tomorrow's appointment: "We knew well even before Game 5 between Perugia and Civitanova that we would face a great team in the final for third place. We will have Perugia in front of us, we are working above all to improve the situations that we did not do well against Trento and that cost us dearly. We are excited, the goal of playing in Europe next year has been achieved but participating in the most important competition is what the Club wants, our fans want it but above all we want it".

There are fifteen precedents between the two teams in official matches, thirteen of which were won by the block-devils and two by the Emilians. Three former players in this challenge, among the Umbrian ranks Davide Candellaro, in the opposing roster Gianluca Galassi and Fabio Ricci. Referees: Marco Zavater (RM) and Vincenzo Carcione (RM).
