Gaspari renews with Savino Del Bene: two-year agreement

Scandicci (Florence), May 12, 2025 – The Savino Del Bene Volley announces the extension of the contract with the coach Marco Gaspari, who will also lead the first team in the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 seasons.

After a season culminating with the first historic participation in the Final Four and the CEV final Champions League, the company of Scandicci he chose to give continuity to the technical project, confirming the coach from the Marche region at the helm of the team.

Gaspari, in addition to the results obtained at European level, which will guarantee participation in the next FIVB Club World Championship, in this sports year has also led the team to qualify for the 2026 Champions League, thanks to the placement obtained in the championship. For Gaspari, the next will be the first full season on the bench of Savino Del Bene Volley, after taking over last October.

We know how difficult it is to take over during the season, when the entire preparation period is missing, which is essential to convey your ideas to the team. The task becomes even more complex when you face numerous games in quick succession and the time is further compressed. In light of these difficulties, we believe that the objectives have been fully achieved, with the great satisfaction of reaching the Champions League final and qualifying for the 2026 Champions League, goals that are far from obvious considering the very high level of our championship and our opponents in the European cups. Gaspari will therefore be our head coach for the next two sports seasons, an ideal time frame to build and develop a shared technical project, capable of keeping the team at the top and further improving its performance”.

I am happy to be able to start again next season at the helm of the team with important ambitions, with the desire to fight for the top. For my part, I will put a great deal of effort and a great deal of passion towards the girls, the company and all the fans, who supported us in an extraordinary way in the final phase of the season.
