Atalanta, new stop for Davide Zappacosta: first degree lesion to the soleus muscle

The 32-year-old Nerazzurri full-back will miss the next away matches in Parma and Bern against Young Boys

Bergamo, November 14, 2024 - Another stop for Davide Zappacosta.  The 32-year-old Atalanta full-back ended his November contract early and will remain out in two to three weeks for a first-degree lesion of the left soleus muscle suffered in the final actions of the first half on Sunday against Udinese. The former Chelsea will jump definitely the challenge of 24 to Parma upon resumption and almost certainly the subsequent away match Champions three days later at Bern in the house of Young Boys.

The away match on December 2 at the Olimpico against Roma is also at risk. Shorter times perhaps for Sead Kolasinac, blocked for a week with a muscle strain suffered in the Champions League away match in Stuttgart: the 31-year-old Bosnian defender is expected to miss the away match in Parma, but could be able to recover for the next match on the pitch of Youn Boys. Berat Djimsiti is also out, with a sprained ankle suffered in a clash with Thauvin on Sunday in the first half against Udinese: the away match in Parma is also at risk for the 31-year-old Albanian defender.
