Against Bologna, therefore, Palladino's team can write a very important page in the history of Fiorentina, but, above all, also in terms of the path of the current tournament considering that, the ninth consecutive victory in the championship would allow the Viola to reach 34 points after the first 15 games, which would represent the new all-time record in the 3-point era (the last 30 years).

After having recalled that those 8 consecutive victories of 64 years served Fiorentina to place second, we must, instead, highlight the fact that the last time the team obtained the same performance as the current one after the first 14 games (9 wins, 4 draws and one defeat) dates back to the season of the second Scudetto of the lilies, where Pesaola's team, however, did not go beyond a draw in the fifteenth game.
