The table tennis athlete lost the semifinal of the class 3 singles against the Korean Yoon Jiyu but achieved a precious milestone

Faenza (Ravenna), 6 September 2024 – In table tennis the 22 year old Faenza table tennis player Carlotta Ragazzini lost the semifinal of the Class 3 (WS3) singles 3-1 against the Korean Yoon Jiyu but gained a precious bronze medal.
The metal was already assured after the 3-0 (11-5; 11-4; 11-6) victory over Croatian Helena Dretar Karic (number 13) in the quarter-finals of the women's individual category 3 table tennis tournament, a match she dominated as the partial sets also demonstrated.
La bronze medal was won, as the third place match was removed from this edition of the Paralympics, and therefore the bronze was won by both losers from the semi-finals.
