Cycling, Pogacar's program for 2025 revealed

Rome, 10 December 2024 - After much speculation, there is finally a schedule of the program Tadej pogacar for the 2025: many confirmations, some news and two asterisks that do not yet reveal the mystery linked to the Grand Tours apart from the immovable Tour de Francee.

The 6th April it will be the turn of the Tour of Flanders, already won in 2023, while the 20th April the assault will be given to theAmstel Gold Race: the spring of Classics will be closed by Vallone Arrow (23th April) and from Liège-Bastogne-Liège (27th April). You then enter the area surrounded by asterisks. The first one concerns the Giro d'Italia, scheduled from 9st May all '1nd June and from the path (at least publicly) still unknown: if in the end the no party wins, the most likely one today, pogacar will fall back on Dauphiné Tour, scheduled from8 al 15nd June and preparatory to the certainty called Tour de France (5-27 July). The other asterisk concerns the Return, probably the real goal of the Slovenian to complete the 'Triple Crown': if so, the good dates on the agenda are August 23th, the departure among other things from Torino, and September 14th, the arrival presumably at Madrid (the route will be revealed next 19th December).  

Pogacar's new bike

  In addition to the (partial) calendar, the bike that has also been revealed Handsome will use in 2025 to go hunting for other businesses: one Colnago Y1Rs developed in collaboration between the Politecnico di Milano , Khalifa University of Abu Dhabi which in reality has already been rejected from an aesthetic point of view. The fault lies mainly with the 'gull wing' handlebar, which is more rigid than the 16% compared to the others and is actually a product of aerodynamic studies that 50 km/h it saves money 20 watts of power, with improved frontal air resistance of the 19%: ideal especially for sprints, a fundamental in which the world champion had already appeared to be clearly improving in recent years. So, it's no big deal if the new racing car appears less attractive to the eye. In reality, the price is also not very attractive: 6.710 € (as a minimum basis) for the frame only that become 16.500 € for the complete medium size model. The rest, such as the power of the legs of pogacar, is obviously not included in the package.
