World Cup 2026: Moldova-Estonia 2-3 in Italy's group

Estonia won 3-2 (2-0) away to Moldova in a qualifying match for the 2026 World Cup, Group I, the same as Italy, played in Chisinau. Peetson (19') and Sappinen (30') scored for Estonia in the first half. In the second half Nicolaescu halved the Moldovan deficit (22'), but three minutes later Käit re-established the gap. Caimacov sealed the final result in the 91st minute.
