The twenty-six year old from Val Ridanna literally blew the bank, flying towards success after the third shooting range to cross the finish line alone with a time of 34'27″2. The Norwegians Isak Frey (0-0-2-0) and Sverre Aspenes (1-0-1-2) could do nothing and had to settle for silver and bronze, 22″7 and 37″5 behind the Italian respectively.
Fourth Sivert Bakken (1-0-1-1), followed by an excellent Iacopo Leonesio, also infallible in the shot to climb from 23rd to fifth place at 1'14"3 from his teammate. Nicola Romanin (2-1-2-0) placed just behind, confirming the seventh place he occupied in the sprint; twenty-fourth Nicolò Betemps (1-0-2-1), fortieth Cristoph Pircher (2-0-2-1).
