Total domination of Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano, which, winning a one-way game 3 0-3, closed the match in front of its fans championship final against Numia Vero Volley Milano, thus conquering his eighth tricolour, seventh consecutive for a streak that is already in the history of Italian sport. The Venetian Panthers, at the first match point after the victory on Saturday at the Unipol Forum in Assago, started strong and never looked back. On the other side, the guests tried to force from the nine-meter line but the serves didn't go in and not even the change of starting six with Helena Cazaute replacing Myriam Sylla reversed the history of the series. Milan, coming off fourteen consecutive defeats against the champions of everything, once again paid a very high price for its errors in attack and even Paola Egonu, the only one to put the ball down with a certain consistency, suffered a couple of shocking blocks in addition to sending a support with her feet on the ground into the net that wasn't typical of her. To crown the first set with the usual Gabi and Haak protagonists, there was also a point by Monica De Gennaro who, on the day of her five hundredth appearance in yellow and blue, sent a brawl that surprised her opponents back to the other side of the court.

In the second set the music didn't change, not even when Nika Daalderop sat on the bench. Conegliano on the wings of a more justified enthusiasm and pushed by the entire PalaVerde in Villorba (Treviso), obviously sold out, took the 2-0 that virtually sent the credits rolling. Milan responded blow for blow at least in the third set, even keeping their head ahead for a long time, but Gabi signed the overtaking at 15-14 before Sarah Fahr's block on Egonu that was worth the decisive lead. There, in fact, the panthers started to celebrate. Conegliano, after having raised the Italian Super Cup, Club World Cup and Italian Cup to the sky, will try to crown its record-breaking season by winning the Champions League on the weekend of May 3 and 4 in Istanbul. The semifinal will be against Numia Vero Volley Milano for a change.

PROSECCO DOC IMOCO CONEGLIANO-NUMIA REAL MILAN 3-0 (25-22, 25-20, 25-21).
