Ternana, another summer race has begun. Summit in Rome between Bandecchi and D'Alessandro

By July 1st, salaries, Irpef withholdings, Enpals contributions and the portion relating to the End of Career Fund must be paid. All of this for the month of May. It cannot therefore be ruled out that, unless there is any last-minute news, Ternana may be incurring a penalty to be served in the 2025/2026 season. If this were to happen, it will then be absolutely necessary to comply in full with the August 1st deadline (relating to the month of June) to avoid cancellation from the championship. The total sum of the two amounts to be paid is over two million euros.

Therefore, the risks feared last Monday by Bandecchi are fully confirmed, who already the previous week had clearly implied that Ternana Calcio was in considerable difficulty. The Mayor and his entourage are therefore collaborating with the D'Alessandro brothers in the search for new partners, or even a new ownership that is obviously able to guarantee the normal running of the competitive season. Some local entrepreneurs have reportedly given up on getting involved, apparently due to the debt situation of the red and green Club which would be several million euros, but also following the lack of promotion as the management of Ternana in relation to Serie C appears very onerous.

There seems to be only one local entrepreneur willing to negotiate, but only to acquire 30 percent of the share package. It is therefore necessary to trust in the mutual will of the parties involved to reach a solution, also keeping in mind that together with the fate of Ternana Calcio, the fate of the new stadium project is also at stake (within a couple of weeks the green light for the signing of the agreement should arrive) and the annexed private clinic.
