Cremonese challenges Reggiana of former Dionigi: three points to stay in the playoff wake

Cremona, 3 April 2025 – The Cremonese who struggles more with the small ones than with the big ones is called to pass a delicate test of maturity in the advance at the home of the dangerous one ReggianaMister Stroppa's team, in search of continuity, must face the classic match, full of pitfalls, in which they have everything to lose and little to gain. 

Three points are needed to continue chasing the Spezia and third place which could prove to be decisive in the key playoff. In fact, the Granata have not won since the match on January 26th against Palermo and in the last few days, after the heavy defeat in the hotly contested derby against Sassuolo, they have provided for the change on the bench between William Viali e David Dionysius.

The ex on his debut

The new coach, a former Cremonese coach among others, has therefore had very little time to try to recharge the Emilians (who have signed the free agent Mattia Destro, a striker with a certain amount of experience, but who has been out of action since the beginning of the season).

While we wait to find out which Reggiana Dionigi will present in his debut (the 4-3-3 should be the starting point, but there are several ballots to be defined), there certainly won't be Sampirisi, Urso e I give you (another former Grigiorosso).

His colleague Strop, in turn forced to give up once again the disqualified Vazquez, will continue with the tested 3-5-2, with three places that will be assigned only at the last minute to whoever prevails in the duels Bonazzoli-De Luca offensively, Pickel-Collocolo e Valoti-Vandeputte in midfield.
