Florence is there, fever at 90°. Enthusiasm and adrenaline. Almost three thousand at the Meazza. And on Thursday everyone in Slovenia

Yes, this time more than ever it is right to call it by the term that best suits it: exodus. Because it is clear that the Saturday away game is always tempting, as is the desire to not leave Fiorentina alone, who is literally flying against the big teams. And yet, thinking of being able to bring almost three thousand Viola fans to San Siro was truly unimaginable just a short time ago. The numbers collected in the last few hours by the fan associations in view of the match with Milan, however, tell this: about 2.500 tickets already planned for the away section of the Meazza and the feeling that the figure could grow even further.

The enthusiasm is palpable and the desire to see Palladino's team win the scalp of another great team (already beaten at the Franchi) is great. But the "sailing ship of the ultras", as the famous Fiesole chorus that has now become a mania goes, will not limit itself to setting sail only for Milan. Given that the nearby international trip to Celje is also on the doorstep, which will encourage many supporters to cross the Italian borders and go all the way to Slovenia: despite the initial rumours (later denied) related to the prohibited trip and a decidedly reduced capacity away fans, in the end for the match valid for the Conference quarter-finals - a match scheduled for April 10 - there will be over a thousand Fiorentina fans who will set sail for the Savinjska region. The solo-out is just a step away: "There are just 550 km between Florence and Celje so it is likely that someone might decide to leave by car even on the same day, after lunch" ATF president Federico De Sinopoli told Radio FirenzeViola.

All things considered, adding the two trips to and from Milan plus the subsequent trip to Celje, the risk is that the Viola coach could travel a good 1.700 km in the space of just seven days. In Milan, the largest part of the fans will travel by coach with a return trip during the night, the same routine for the blitz in Slovenia next week. And for the Easter Monday trip to Cagliari? It is not out of place to think that someone could organize a ferry trip.
