Semper and one less coffee for Serie A: "We all have to make an extra effort"
The Croatian goalkeeper and the big goal: "Each of us must now give our best, even sacrificing ourselves. We owe it to the city"

Una spettacolare uscita. di Adrian Šemper, 27 anni
"The bone is still in our mouth, and we won't let go of it that easily. That's for sure." He has no doubts. Adrian Semper regarding the long-distance battle with the Spezia. The goalkeeper of Pisa, who answered questions from journalists at the press conference. With his trademark icy gaze, and – obviously – with chewing gum in his mouth, the Nerazzurri number 47 was extremely sincere and focused in his answers: "We are still in the right position. Each of us now has to give something more, even making sacrifices. Drink one less coffee, go out one less time. We have to give everything for Pisa, for this club, for these fans, for this city, to be ever closer to our goal, which we all know". Semper then focused on the present: "In these ten days we have recovered energy. We will need it for this final effort. This break has been useful to us, and arriving there with a victory has allowed us to experience days of positivity".
Now the championship is ready to start again, and it will be a final sprint: "There will be eight finals, for us as for everyone. Every team is fighting for something, Cosenza for salvation. But our goal is more important". Precisely regarding the challenge of "San Vito – Marulla", scheduled for Saturday at 15 pm: "We face this match like all the others, with our strength. I hope for a positive result for us". But this seems obvious. One thing is certain, Pisa has conceded goals in the last seven games, often with the first shot: "There is no motivation. In my opinion, in these games we needed more attention, more concentration, especially at the beginning of the game. Despite this, I believe that ours is the best defense of the championship (in terms of numbers it is the third, behind Spezia and Sassuolo, ed.) because I haven't suffered many shots". Few shots, but many great saves.
Semper defined his favorites: "There are two particularly important ones: one against Sudtirol, the other in Palermo. But I can always do something more, improve". And then he moved on to the analysis of an action where he could have reacted better, in Cesena: "For me it's a different story. The ball was very strong, I didn't have time to direct it. The attacker was lucky to have shot badly". The goalkeeper had no doubts about the team's possibilities: "From day one I knew I could compete at these levels in the championship. I saw a club that believes in something special. Everything we've done is deserved". He, after all, knows how to do it: "I've won two championships in a row. I'm only focused on our goals, I don't look at the others".
