Hard-fought draw (14-14) between Dr Ferroviaria Spezia and Alessandria. The match was uphill from the start for the team from La Spezia, as the guests surprised them in the first minutes and scored a try (converted). Coach Marco Sturlese's team then took control of the game: the equaliser came from a technical try awarded for a series of repeated fouls committed by the guests. Dr Ferroviaria could have extended the lead but Marco Sturlese missed an easy free kick and an attempted drop, the first half ended 7-7. At the start of the second half the guests were ahead: they intercepted the ball and scored between the posts for the subsequent conversion (7-14). Dr Ferroviaria did not capitulate, not even during the 10 minutes of numerical inferiority due to the temporary expulsion of Kevin Mazzanti. Marco Sturlese converted from the spot and it was the final 14-14.
