The standings, however, remain extremely fluid. Excluding Rimini, which has two games less than a good number of pursuers, ten teams are within 4 points. From 40 for Cantù and Fortitudo, we go down to 36 for the trio composed of Avellino, Brindisi and Pesaro. In the middle, together with Unieuro, there are Rieti, Milan, Verona and Cividale.

With five 'full' days to go until the end of the regular season and with a myriad of big matches on the horizon, any scenario can still materialize. In their next six games, therefore, Cinciarini and his teammates will be called upon to 'cement' a top seven finish in the class to secure direct passage to the playoffs. Closing in the top five, then, would also guarantee the field factor for at least one round. To achieve this, a slightly more favorable schedule than some of the opponents might help.

First of all, as regards the direct confrontations: Unieuro will have five of them between now and April 27, but four of these will be played at theUnieuro Arena. A non-trivial detail. Tomorrow night's challenge against Avellino, of course, already has a notable specific weight. By winning, Pallacanestro 2.015 would (almost) definitively leave the Irpini behind. Digging a gap of four points, with many direct clashes in its favor (Forlì had won in the first leg) that is difficult for the rivals to fill, who will then still have to face, among others, Rimini, Verona and Cantù. One direct competitor potentially less on Unieuro's path, if beaten, waiting to cross gloves with two of the four teams that 'travel' at 38 points in the standings just like Forlì.

Yes, because in the next two Sundays Antimo Martino's men will then face Milan and Rieti, who to date, unlike Verona and Cividale, boast the same games played by the Forlì team. Even in this case, overcoming the Milanese, after the thrilling success of November, could be essential: Urania still has to deal with Udine (at home), Cividale and Brindisi (away). On the contrary, putting the arrow on Real Sebastiani will not be such an easy task. The only high-altitude clashes of the Sabines will be against Forlì and Rimini.

And the others? Cividale, in a prolonged rupture after the Coppa Italia final, is expected to face a fiery triptych: Brindisi and Fortitudo away, before Milan. Verona will now face Cantù and Avellino, before closing with Pesaro. In the hope that the same Salento and Marchigiani do not get any closer (three big matches scheduled for both), starting the final sprint by distancing the Campanian wolves would therefore be an excellent starting point.
