Women's Serie A. Crazy Derby at the Arena Civica. Inter comeback three times, it's a draw

Very enjoyable first half. The first part is all Inter. After thirty seconds Wullaert sends it high from a few steps away. Milan struggles to organize, while the Nerazzurre press on the accelerator and in the 14th minute they find the advantage: a perfect corner from Serturini for Milinkovic who beats Giuliani with his left foot. The goal conceded seems to wake up Milan. Bakker's girls create the first opportunity in the 22nd minute, with a corner from Cernoia for Mascarello whose right foot shot grazes the post. And in the 39th minute the 1-1 arrives: Dompig defends the ball very well on the wing and crosses it into the middle where Merlo, in an attempt to anticipate Renzotti, scores an own goal. At the moment in which Milan seems to have taken control, Inter goes on the counterattack. In the 47th minute the Nerazzurre earn two corners in a row taken by Serturini and on the second Cambiaghi finds the deflection for the 2-1.

The second half begins at a slower pace. Milan only need a burst of energy to equalize again: in the 20th minute, Renzotti escapes from Andres on the wing and crosses into the area, Kovisto grazes and Milinkovic scores the second own goal of the day. The emotions of a beautiful derby are far from over and four minutes later Inter takes the lead again. Following a confused action in the area, Wullaert takes advantage of the misunderstanding between Giuliani and Vigilucci and makes it 3-2. Milan does not give up and responds once again: in the 35th minute, following a free kick, the Nerazzurre remain immobile, Koivisto passes it to Sorelli for the head, Runarsdottir saves, but can do nothing about Ijeh's tap-in. And the two teams settle for a draw.
