Coppa Italia B: Galatone triumphs in Fasano against Codyeco Lupi
Galatone wins the Coppa Italia B beating Codyeco Lupi 3-1 in Fasano. Balanced and disputed final without video check.

La Codyeco Lupi
The Coppa Italia B, played in Fasano in the province of Brindisi, goes to Galatone from Lecce, victorious 3-1 over Codyeco Lupi. This is the sequence of sets: 25-16; 23-25; 25-22; 25-23. The Salento team practically played at home, counting – much more than the Santacrocesi – on the home field advantage, despite the latter having been followed in Puglia by their most loyal supporters. The match was very balanced with a fourth set finale in which there were two balls contested by Pagliai's red and whites. The first on the point of 24-22 and the second on 25-23 for the Lecce team. The absence of video check was decisive. You can't play a final, suspended by a thread, without the assistance of images in the heated moments. The match saw the two teams equal from the second set onwards, after the first had been won by Del Monte and his teammates by 25-16. Codyeco reacted well, always keeping the black and greens on their toes, with Mignano calling on the middle blockers more, compared to the semifinal the previous day, won by 3-0 over the Romans of Genzano. Galatone had instead prevailed by 3-1 over the Venetians of Monselice. The final in Fasano was open and often uncertain even if Miranda and his teammates gave the slight impression of being able to do something more. However, the Wolves were always on the ball, playing with patience, a quality that often took away certainties from the Apulians. In the fourth set, the two teams felt a certain fatigue. The final saw Galatone take the score to 23-22 and here there were the two balls that Codyeco contested, not finding herself in agreement with the two referees. The last moments were of a tense finale.
