La Fgl-Zuma Castelfranco inaugurates the first match of 2025 within the friendly walls of the PalaParenti, tomorrow afternoon at 17pm for a new game of cadet championship. An important challenge, because the girls of coach Mark Bracci they will find themselves facing the Cbl Costa Volpino, currently the fifth force in the championship. A full victory for the Castelfranco team would allow them to keep alive their hopes of catching up with the same fifth place, currently seven points away.

"We know the importance of this race – comments the central Alessandra Colzi – we are coming here full of energy and we will do everything to get an important result. We must try to collect as many points as possible between now and the end of the first phase of the championship, then we will draw conclusions. We have some important matches to play at home and we will have to try to take advantage of the home field advantage as much as possible. Costa Volpino will be a tough opponent who is coming off two consecutive victories. They did not start the championship well, but they have grown match after match, stringing together a series of positive results, so today they are a confident team. And they will certainly want to make up for the first leg, in which we won in the tie-break".

The short break from the championship was useful for Fgl-Zuma to recover energy after a particularly intense December. "We had a remarkable tour de force - concludes the Tuscan powerhouse - these two weeks were useful to recharge our batteries and we are ready to take to the field".
